About BIDEdesign
Hello!
I’m Brenna, the creator here at BIDEdesign.
I’m a self-taught chalk & fiber artist based out of the Colorado Springs area. I’m originally from the western slope of Colorado but moved to the Springs for college and it’s always brought me back - I adore the mountains and the outdoors and have the most amazing view of Pikes Peak from my front porch.
BIDEdesign currently has two main points of focus:
signage and macrame.
Sprouting from a love of typography and layout design that began in high school journalism classes, I found a niche between building newspaper advertisements and yearbook page layouts. From there, I’ve fallen into graphic design, website building, social media, branding and signage. My chalkboards started out with seasonal menus while working as a Barista and have grown in size and scope in the resulting years. Large scale projects are my favorites but I truly love tackling new challenges and expanding my skillsets.
Macrame also started as a high school hobby; I recently reignited my love for the craft after 20 years, and now I’m creating modern, clean products with a focus on sustainability. I use recycled cotton and source most of my materials locally, including unique wood - it’s handy having an arborist as a husband!

Speaking of that personal stuff, I’m also mom to two pretty cool kids and caretaker to a myriad of animals: currently we have 3 elder dogs, and juvenile cat and 2 chickens.
Thanks for stopping by - feel free to say hi!
